Sizing for Desigual tops

Good news if you've heard the warnings about Desigual sizing: tops are more forgiving than dresses. Standard EU sizing holds up reasonably well for t-shirts and relaxed-fit blouses. An M is an M, an L is an L. The fitted cuts that cause sizing trouble in Desigual's dress range are less of an issue with tops because there's more give in the shoulder and torso.

Fabric and care

Most Desigual t-shirts are 95% viscose / 5% elastane or 100% cotton. The viscose blend is the softer, more fluid option; the cotton is more structured and holds its shape better after repeated washes.

The care instructions that matter: wash at 30°C, turn inside out, no bleach, no tumble dryer. The inside-out step is the important one. Desigual's layered prints have more surface detail than a typical screen print, and hot water or a dryer cycle can start lifting edges on the graphic after 15–20 washes.

Iron on the reverse side if you must, but viscose blends wrinkle less than pure cotton so you can often skip it. Fabric softener is a pass — it coats the fibres with a waxy film that gradually dulls printed colours.
